The Music, Imaging, and Neural Dynamics Laboratory at Wesleyan University has a postdoctoral position available in the cognitive neuroscience of music.
The position offers training and research opportunities using cognitive neuroscience techniques including EEG/ERP, structural and functional MRI, human behavioral testing, and combinations thereof.
The postdoctoral fellow will work with Dr. Psyche Loui on all aspects of research including, but not limited to:
This is a grant-funded position and funding has been approved for 1 year with the possibility of a 2nd year contingent upon continued funding.
PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field.
Strong academic training in cognitive neuroscience, cognitive science, and/or perception and psychophysics.
Experience with human neuroscience methods, such as those listed above.
Computing and programming skill.
Quantitative and/or statistical expertise.
Skills and independence in scientific writing.
Experience in behavioral testing of human subjects.
