Position Details

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Wesleyan University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The postdoc will work with Professors Norman Danner and Dan Licata on the topic of certified cost analysis of functional programs.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Assist Professors Norman Danner and Dan Licata with conducting research on the topic of certified cost analysis of functional programs
• Disseminate research results through publications and conference presentations
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students

This is a grant funded position. Funding is approved for 1 year. Continuation of the position is contingent upon mutual agreement and continued funding.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in programming languages, logic, or algorithms.
Strong research record.
Interest in pursuing individual research agenda/ research topics.
Prior teaching or teaching assistant experience.
Demonstrated commitment to work within a diverse environment and interact openly with individuals of different backgrounds.
